TX Series

The digital cameras of the Baumer TX family stand for versatility through innovation and convince with their compact housing and their conformity to industrialized standards such as Gigabit Ethernet and FireWire. EX Series

The EX camera series combines state of the art CMOS sensor technology with Baumer‘s own components and know-how to guarantee perfect image quality. Due to its GigE Vision compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface the EX cameras facilitate high performance image acquisition and an easy system integration.

SX Series

The cameras of the SX family are based on advanced, powerful CCD sensors from Kodak that were specially developed for industrial applications. These sensors provide high sensitivity while keeping image noise low. Flexible readout architecture of the sensors allows the use of one, two or four outputs to achieving very high image rates. The SX camera platform was especially developed to accommodate the increased demands on resolution and image rate while providing excellent image quality at the same time. The compact and rugged housing together with comprehensive software support provides simple system integration. The cameras use the advanced CameraLink Base interface for image transmission. This permits transmission of up to 255 MB per second with minimum latency times.

SXG Series

Blazing fast performance with 240 MB/s

With the new Dual GigE interface, Baumer offers an innovative GigE network solution for the implementation of cameras with fast sensors and high frame rates. State-of-the-art Kodak sensors offer Quad Tap readouts, providing excellent image quality and high frame rates simultaneously. Baumer’s new Dual GigE interface doubles the standard bandwidth. With the capability of transferring at 240 MB/s, the full potential of the Kodak Quad Tap sensors can now be used. With a transfer distance of 100 m, the Dual GigE interface offers all the advantages of the standard GigE interface. However, the redundant concept of the Dual GigE system provides better transfer security, ensuring data transfer and reliable camera operation even if one of the two Ethernet cables is disconnected.Baumer introduces the industrial SXG cameras as the first cameras equipped with the new technology. By using the full performance of the Kodak sensors, the SXG cameras can offer excellent images with resolutions from 1 to 8 megapixels and simultaneous frame rates up to 120 frames per second. All cameras are supplied with Power over the Ethernet (POE) technology to eliminate a separate power cable. At the same time the PoE technology allows an easy integration.

HX Series

A perfect solution for ultra fast machine vision applications, Baumer's new HX digital CMOS cameras combine extremely high frame rates of 500 fps with over a megapixel of resolution at 1280 x 1024 pixels. Hyper frame rates of up to 120,000 fps are achievable by using up to three regions of interest (ROI) within the full frame. The cameras offer both a free running and trigger mode. By supporting the CameraLink communication standard, industrial cables and frame grabber boards can be used, simplifying system integration.

The Baumer-GAPI programming interface was created to operate all Baumer cameras regardless of the employed sensor, data transfer interface or other specific performance features via an uniform software interface (API).

The B0610 is built around Kodak's KAI-0340S and the B0620 built around Kodak's KAI-0340D Interline transfer CCD image sensors with a 1/3" optical format. They provide an image resolution of 648 x 488 with the B0610 delivering up to 137 frames per second at full resolution and the B0620 delivers up to 260 frames per second at full resolution.

The B1410, B1310 & B1411 models are advanced high-speed progressive scan, fully programmable CCD cameras. These small and light weight cameras are designed for imaging applications that require high frame rates, high quality images, powerful features and flexibility.

The B1410 is built around SONY'S ICX-285, the B1310 built around SONY'S ICX-445 and the B1411 SONY'S ICX-267 Interline transfer CCD image sensors. They have optical formats of B1410 2/3", B1310 1/3” and B1411 ˝”.

The B1410 and B1411 provide an image resolution of 1392 x 1040 with the B1310 at 1280 x 966. The B1410 and B1411 delivers up to 30 frames per second at full resolution, and the B1310 at 39 frames per second.

The B1610 is built around SONY'S ICX-274, the B1620 built around Kodak's KAI-2020 with the B1920 Kodak's KAI-2093 Interline transfer CCD image sensors. They have optical formats of B1610 1/1.8", B1620 and B1920 1.0”.

The B1610 provides an image resolution of 1628 x 1236 with the B1620 at 1608 x 1208 and the B1920 at 1928 x 1084.

The B1610 delivers up to 25 frames per second at full resolution, the B1620 at 44 frames per second with the B1920 at 41 frames per second.

The ICL-B6620 is built around Kodak's KAI-29050 Interline transfer CCD image sensor with a 43.3 mm image diagonal providing an image resolution 6600 x 4400 and delivers up to 2.4 frames per second at full resolution.

The Imperx camera image processing engines are based on a high-speed, high-density FPGA, featuring programmable resolution, speed, 8 independent AOIs, binning, triggering, exposure control, line and frame time, I/O mapping, external/internal sync, AGC, AEC, Auto Iris, transfer function correction, user LUT, and Defective and Hot Pixel Correction (DPC, HPC).

Tattile

Tattile machine vision products include stand alone smart cameras, intelligent image sensors and rugged analyser hardware with free image analysis library. Machine vision cameras with GigE or Camera link interfaces are available for use with the analyser hardware or SDK.


Gigabit Ethernet Cameras

A range of GigE vision cameras for use with Analyser hardware or with PC systems. A free SDK is available for these products. These cameras have built in strobe and isolated I/O.

Hitachi

Hitachi offer a very large range of monochrome and colour CCD cameras, and will certainly have a camera that matches your application, details of a small selection are given below.

HV-D series
The HV-D series are high resolution C-Mount 3CCD colour cameras. They are equipped with a newly developed digital signal processor (DSP), which is contained on a single ultra-LSI (large scale integration) chip utilising Hitachi's most recent processing technology (0.18µm, internal core plus 1.8 volt drive, 3 million gates) to achieve small size, low power consumption and high stability.
KP-M series
  • A range of compact and lightweight monochrome cameras.
  • Variable multi-speed electronic shutter of eight steps and optional restart reset function is provided to enable a desired picture to be captured at desired timing.
  • Uses the latest high grade 2/3" CCD with total of over 470,000 pixels, which enables high accuracy image processing, and features high sensitivity and high resolution. With selectable integration mode, the HD/VD external sync operation, and the non-interlace scan capability, it is most suitable for use with a microscope or image processing equipment
KP-F series
A range of progressive scan full frame shutter monochrome cameras using a 1/3" CCD with sensitivity in the near infrared spectrum. The high performance camera boasts high resolution together with a broad array of functions, including multi-step electronic shutter, external horizontal and vertical synchronisation, field on demand and non-interlace scanning. Suitability for image processing is assured by the square lattice pixels on the CCD. Two models are available, type A with a full frame output at 1/30th second and type B with simultaneous output of separate odd and even horizontal lines in 1/60th second.
